Our Story
GenerateCV was born from a simple frustration: watching talented people struggle to get interviews despite having impressive skills and experience. The problem wasn't their qualifications—it was that their resumes never got seen. ATS software doesn't reject candidates; recruiters searching inside it simply never find resumes that miss the right keywords or can't be parsed cleanly.
We set out to build a tool that would help anyone create a professional, ATS-optimized resume without needing design skills or hours of formatting. Using the latest advances in AI, we created a conversational resume builder that guides you through the process naturally.

Our Methodology
Export testing
Automated tests render our PDF exports and pull the text back out the way a parser does. A change that garbles the text layer fails the build. We test our own exports; nobody outside an ATS vendor can test the vendor's software, so we don't claim to.
First-party job data
200,000+ live postings from official company boards, read directly from 6 applicant tracking platforms (Greenhouse, SmartRecruiters, Ashby, Lever, Recruitee, Workable). Each statistic we publish is kept beside the exact pattern that produced it and the date it was measured.
Published scoring
The ATS score is a weighted mix of parse safety, contact-info detection, section structure, keyword match and content quality. The method is published.
What we don't claim
We have no interview-rate data and no recruiter panel. The score is a diagnostic of your document, not a prediction of how any employer's system will treat it.
